BLANDON, Pa. — May 14th — As part of a mutual assistance assignment, the Blandon Fire Department responded to a car accident involving two trapped people on Route 222 Southbound in Muhlenberg Township. Muhlenberg Township Fire & Rescue 66 received assistance from Ladder 12 while workers attempted to securely extract the occupants from the car and grant EMS professionals access.
