Family of Four Killed on Alabama Highway 67

Joppa, AL - On Monday, June 3rd a family of four was killed when the vehicle they were driving in crossed over into the southbound lane and hit a log truck on Alabama Highway 67, located just south of Joppa in Cullman County. Two adults, ages 41 and 23, and two children, ages two and four, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Cullman County Coroner. Highway 67 was closed for several hours while Alabama State Troopers investigated the scene. The driver of the log truck was injured and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation.
