Providence, RI - Chopmist Hill Volunteer Fire Department responded mutual aid to a reported house fire on Talbut Road, alongside Hope & Jackson Fire Company and Potterville Volunteer Fire Department.
First arriving crews reported a well-involved two-story wood-frame dwelling, with all occupants safely evacuated. Due to structural collapse prior to arrival, operations were conducted defensively from the exterior.
A total of 13 Chopmist Hill members operated on scene for approximately four hours as crews worked to bring the incident under control.
