NATIONAL FIRE PREVENTION & EDUCATION TEAM ASSISTS FLORIDA

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Fire Prevention & Education members from around the country assisted Florida National Parks and Florida Forestry. The team’s territory was from Tallassee to the Atlantic, Georgia to Ocala a area almost the size of Rode Island. The 16 members had the task of spreading the word Fire Prevention at any public event, also distributing flyers on the dangers of dragging trailer chains. It is proven that every dollar that is spent on Fire Prevention 35 dollars is saved on suppression.
