LINCOLN, ME - After a general alarm assignment was sent out for a reported building fire with potential residents inside on May 2nd, Lincoln Fire Department personnel arrived to a residential structure fire on Lee Road. When Engine 531 arrived early in the morning, they saw a single-story house with a significant fire. Firefighters started an interior fire attack after making sure there were no occupants inside. EMS personnel treated a burn victim who was later sent to Penobscot Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Firefighters controlled the main body of fire and extended a second hoseline to prevent expansion into an adjoining garage. The placement outside the hydrant district necessitated the request for additional tanker and labor support.
