On May 27th, the Waltham 911 received multiple call for a truck fire on I 95 south at Winter street. Engine 2 and 7 were dispatched. While responding the 911 Center said they could see heavy smoke in the sky. Deputy Chief Brock Roland requested Engine 8 to respond. Upon arrival they they found a tractor fully involved. There was no trailer. It took fire fighters about a half hour to put the fire out. The DEP and Cambridge Water Commission were requested as it was near their resevoir.
