Explosion Severely Injures 2 in Pasco County

BAYONET POINT, FL - Around 2:00 P.M. on May 23rd, Pasco Fire Rescue crews were dispatched for a reported explosion at 7215 Elizabeth Ave. On arrival, they had nothing showing, but found two injured men who were severely injured by the blast. According to the Sheriff's Office, a flashover occurred from the two adult men spraying foam insulation inside an enclosed space. They were transported to a parking lot of a commercial store where they were airlifted by two Med-Trans Helicopters to a trauma center. No word on the extent of the injuries. The explosion still remains under investigation.
