Mays Landing, NJ - Laureldale Fire/Rescue responded to a reported mulch fire in Consumer Square near Taco Bell, where crews found a small but potentially spreading fire.

Utility 18-34 arrived promptly and quickly extinguished the flames before they could extend to nearby structures or landscaping. Crews then took extra time to thoroughly soak the surrounding mulch beds and adjacent areas, ensuring no hidden embers remained that could reignite.

Mays Landing Fire Department assisted on scene. Thanks to the rapid response and overhaul work, the incident was contained without further extension.
