WIKES-BARRE TWP. - Fire tore through a large home and a nearby garage on Summit Street around 7:30am on Saturday, May 20th. Firefighters from Wilkes-Barre Township, Plains, Hanover, Ashley, and Wilkes-Barre City. Heavy fire conditions throughout the entire residence and a detached garage prompted a call for a second alarm.
