NORTH BETHLEHEM, NY - High-Speed driving led to a rollover crash in North Bethlehem late Saturday night, May 15th.

The North Bethlehem FD was dispatched with Delmar-Bethlehem EMS, Albany County Paramedics and Bethlehem Police for a reported rollover crash on Blessing Road near Eastmount Drive around 11:45 P.M.

Blessing Road was closed for several hours in the area as arriving crews discovered a damaged pole and wires down in the roadway at the crash scene. National Grid responded to the scene and needed to replace the pole because of the damage sustained as a result of the crash.

Cmdr. James Rexford of Bethlehem Police said speed was a factor in the crash, and the driver faced several charges. Rexford said there were no injuries reported on the scene. He said the driver was charged with improper plates, unregistered vehicle, uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage.
