STRATHMERE, NJ - A reported boat fire involving an injured individual prompted Strathmere Fire Rescue to be dispatched to the intersection of 32nd Street and Bay Avenue, May 8th. Firefighters arrived to discover a boat on a trailer that was heavily engulfed in flames. One person was transported to a regional trauma center for unknown injuries. As they checked potential extension dangers involving nearby vehicles and equipment, crews swiftly contained the fire and secured the surrounding area. The Cape May County Fire Marshal's Office is looking into what caused the fire.
