Newport City, VT - The City of Newport Fire Department responded to a reported stove fire on Pleasant Street, where crews arrived and quickly initiated fireground operations.

Fire 1, Engine 2, and Tower 1 operated on scene, working to bring the incident under control and ensure the safety of the residence.

All units were later cleared and returned to service following a successful response.
