On Sunday April 27th 2025 the Nassau County Police Department marked a historic milestone celebrating 100 years of law enforcement service with a parade. The parade had over 250 police motorcycles, hundreds of officers who are currently serving and past officers, members of fallen officers families, and various vehicles ranging from vintage patrol cars to today's patrol vehicles, emergency service unit specialty vehicles. Various police agencies from near and far participated in this milestone. The parade was dubbed the largest law enforcement parade in the nation.
