Service Station Fire with Multiple Explosions in Great Bend

GREAT BEND, PA - On May 12th at 9:23 A.M., Five Mile Point Firefighters were requested to assist Great Bend Fire Dept. at a building fire at Marv's Garage on Route 11. Tower 59, Engine 59-1 and Tanker 59 responded. Tower 59 went to the scene to assist with fire suppression while Tanker 59 was one of multiple tankers hauling water to the scene to support suppression efforts. Engine 59-1 was tasked with setting up a tanker fill site just north of the state line. FMP was just one of multiple Broome County agencies to assist. Crews cleared from the scene at 12:26 P.M.
