COLCHESTER, CT - At 10:57 a.m. on Thursday, 5/14/26 the Colchester Fire Department with Medic 3 and the Colchester Police were dispatched to Middletown Road at Skinner Road for a car accident with entrapment. Car 28 arrived at 11:02 a.m. with a truck that had sideswiped an object on a tractor trailer with the driver trapped. Engines 1 & 2 with Rescue 1 performed the extrication while Ambulance 528 performed patient care. Ambulance 528 transported ALS to Hartford Hospital.
