At 1719 hours the Washingtonville Fire Department was dispatched on the first alarm assignment, on a mutual aid to the Campbell Hall Fire Department, for a house fire on Birchwood Court in the Town of Hamptonburgh. Pumper/Tanker 577 and Ladder 579 responded.

The house was well involved on arrival of fire department units.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Orange County Fire Investigators.
