Fall River Structure Fire Displaces 8

FALL RIVER, MA - On Thursday, May 11th at 6:22 P.M., firefighters were toned out for a still alarm at 41 Tremont Street. Engines 2, 9 and 12, along with Ladder 4 and Platform 1 responded with Heavy Rescue 1 who had just cleared another fire scene. Car 2 arrived and had nothing showing initially, but residents directed him to the second floor where he found smoke coming from the walls on the second and third floors. Two attack lines were stretched to division two and division three, and firefighters made a quick knock down after openning up the walls. Eight people were displaced.
