COLDENHAM, NY - Coldenham Fire Department responded to a serious MVA with reported entrapment on Interstate 84 westbound, in the area of mile marker 30, on May 11th. On arrival firefighters found one subject entrapped in the vehicle, and the tractor-trailer involved in the collision was located on the left side of the road. The subject was extricated as EMS requested a MedEvac to the scene. Westbound traffic was closed as the MedEvac landed on I-84 and airlifted the subject to Westchester Medical Center. New York State Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Westbound traffic was opened approximately one hour later.
