JAMESTOWN, NY - On May 12th, the Jamestown Fire Department of the second platoon was dispatched to the area of Dawson's metal for a reported dog over the embankment. Engine 4 went on scene and requested Ladder 1 to the scene.
The dog was rescued by Lt. Smith of Engine 4 who went down the embankment to bring the dog back up. The dog was okay and returned to its owners.
