GREENSBURG, Pa. — April 18th — Dryridge VFD personnel responded to a two-vehicle collision on Route 30 eastbound close to the Mountainview intersection. A car's automatic alert system was the first to notify the collision. When Deputy 33 arrived, he saw two cars involved, one of which was a pickup truck that had been tipped onto its side and may have had injuries.

As soon as Rescue 91 arrived, technicians stabilized the car and set up scene lights for emergency operations. Before emergency personnel could arrive, the driver of the crashed pickup got out of the car. Before units cleared the scene, firefighters helped with traffic control and scene safety while mutual aid EMS assessed all occupants and provided on-site patient treatment.
