On April 10, members of the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company Inc. assisted the Richburg Volunteer Fire Company by responding to three mutual aid structure fires.
The initial report of a fire on Dimmick Road was received just after nine in the morning. With three crew members, Tanker 7 responded and ran for around two hours.
Around 5:30 p.m., a second fire on Pleasant Valley Road was put out. Engine 2, Tanker 7, Mini 4, and Chief 501 with seven employees were included in the entire company assignment that was upgraded from the first request for the tanker. Crews were diverted to a third fire affecting a garage on Evans Avenue as they were responding.
