On May 7th around 4:30pm the Emmaus Fire Department Along with the Vera Cruz and Western Salisbury fire companies and the Lower Macungie Fire Department and Emmaus EMS were dispatched for a apartment fire at 144 Crest Way in the Borough of Emmaus. The Dispatcher said Multiple calls were being Received, Chief 7 arrived and had smoke showing. Engine 7 arrived and advanced a handline into the apartment and had a a fire in the bedroom. Emmaus EMS provided treatment to tenant of the apartment and a additional ambulance from Macungie EMS was requested to the scene. Cause of the fire is pending the investigation by the fire marshal
