NEWBURGH, NY — Coldenham Fire Department responded to a tractor-trailer/van rollover on the State Route 17K/Interstate 84 off-ramp on May 8th. New York State Police, Town of Newburgh Police, and Town of Newburgh EMS were on scene. The driver of the van was transported to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital by Town of Newburgh EMS. The eastbound lane of State Route 17K was closed, and all traffic was diverted to Interstate 84 eastbound. Firefighters used a light tower at the scene, made the vehicle safe from hazards, and stood by for the tow truck to upright the van. New York State Police are investigating the cause.
