WATERTOWN, N.Y. — April 30th — An automatic iPhone crash notice with little information about the incident's location prompted firefighters from the Department Northpole Fire Company to attend. When Guilfoyle Medic 4 arrived first, they found a car off the road, deep in a wooded area. Soon after, Engine 2 arrived, and workers helped with patient care, vehicle stability, and scene safety. Guilfoyle Ambulance transported one individual for assessment.

Before returning to service, firefighters stayed on the scene until the car was securely removed from the wooded area. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police also provided assistance at the scene.
