Truck Into a House Results in Fatality

At 10:20 pm on Wednesday, 5/6/26 the East Killingly and Dayville Fire Departments with KB Ambulance, QV Paramedics and the Killingly Police were dispatched to 1348 Hartford Pike, Route 101 for a vehicle into a house with entrapment. Car 264 was immediately on scene confirming entrapment with a portion of the structure collapsed and requested Lifestar Helicopter.
Car 364 requested Southbridge’s Region 7 collapse trailer. Lifestar Helicopter was cancelled when the paramedic did a presumption on scene. The Building Official, Eversource, Department of Transportation, CT USAR and CT State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad also responded.
