DURHAM, ME - On May 6th, Durham Fire & Rescue responded alongside the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office to a serious rollover crash involving a vehicle that struck a utility pole on Newell Brook Road.
Emergency crews arrived to find the vehicle with significant damage following the collision and rollover.
Despite the severity of the crash scene, the occupant escaped without injuries — an outcome officials credited as a powerful reminder of the importance of wearing seatbelts.
The roadway remained partially closed while Central Maine Power crews assessed damage to the utility infrastructure and coordinated repair operations.
