Billerica firefighters arrived to find smoke showing from the eaves of a single-family dwelling on May 1st. Companies discovered a kitchen fire on floor 1. Companies knocked down the fire in a short amount of time. Chelmsford Tower arrived on scene and ventilated the roof.  Crews remained on scene overhauling and checking for extension.
