Chichester, NH - Chichester Fire Department crews responded to a fast-moving brush fire in the wooded area between Carpenter Park and a nearby residence on Carpenter Road. Upon arrival, firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire, limiting its spread to approximately half an acre.

Due to dry conditions and the potential for rapid fire growth, multiple mutual aid departments were requested to assist.

Crews from Pittsfield, Epsom, Pembroke, Loudon, and Concord Fire responded alongside a State Forestry Patrol unit and a State Forest Ranger, providing additional manpower and resources to bring the situation under control.

The coordinated response helped prevent further extension toward nearby structures. Officials continue to urge caution with outdoor burning, as dry conditions remain favorable for brush fire activity.
