Early on April 28, the Closter Volunteer Fire Department provided mutual help to a second-alarm house fire in the Borough of Old Tappan.
In order to support ongoing fireground efforts, Rescue/Air Truck 5 was sent to give more personnel and equipment. Assignments for second alarms bring in local resources to help with overhaul, ventilation, and suppression.
