Canterbury NH Fire & Rescue Handles Structure Fire

Canterbury, NH — April 8th — A building fire in the town was reported to the Department of Canterbury NH Fire & Rescue, located at 26 Baptist Road, 03224. Before starting the fire attack and principal search activities, crews arrived, established command, and finished a size-up. With an emphasis on preventing the structure from expanding, the fire was contained. In order to guarantee sufficient manpower and coverage, mutual aid organizations frequently provided on-site assistance.
At the time of the incident, no injuries were recorded. Coordinated operations, such as water supply, ventilation, and overhaul, are necessary to prevent building fires. Noting that interagency cooperation is still essential to safe and efficient event management, officials acknowledged all responding agencies.
