Gardner Lake Fire Company Celebrates 70 years

At 7 pm on Friday, 4/17/26 the Gardner Lake Fire Company celebrated their 70th anniversary at the Polish Club in Colchester. Chiefs from around the area celebrated with members from the department. Following a delicious meal, awards were given out for years of service.
The Gardner Lake Fire Company is one of two stations located in Salem, Connecticut. Station 27 helps protect 4,200 people over 29 square miles with an engine, tanker, rescue, forestry, ambulance, service truck, UTV and a fire boat.
