On April 11, shortly before 1:30 a.m., the South Deerfield Fire District sent mutual aid to Sunderland in response to a structure fire at Sugarloaf Estates.

Engine 1 supported continuous suppression efforts by providing water to Engine 1 of the Hadley Fire Department. Tower 1 was put into operation to help put out fires by running an elevated master stream.

Until activities were brought under control, units continued to assist on the scene.
