On Tuesday, April 29, the Fairfield Fire Department promoted 2 Deputy Chiefs, 2 Assistant Chiefs, and 4 Lieutenants. The following members were promoted: Asst. Chief Roger Caisse to Deputy Chief, Asst. Chief Patrick Barry to Deputy Chief, Lt. Robert Delmhorst to Assistant Chief, Lt. John Cronin to Assistant Chief, FF Brian Madia to Lieutenant, FF Dominic Cocchia to Lieutenant, FF Robert Luise to Lieutenant, and FF George Heath to Lieutenant. 3 members were also acknowledged for lateral transfers within the department, those members being: Asst. Chief John Cronin to Fire Marshal, Asst. Chief George Gomola to Asst. Chief of Training/Safety, Lieutenant Eric McKeon to Deputy Fire Marshal, and Lieutenant Richard Bassett to Lieutenant of Training/Safety. Congratulations to all members.
