NEWBURGH, NY - Winona Lake FD responded to a two-car MVA with a rollover into a building at 150 State Route 17K, May 1st. Town of Newburgh Police and EMS were at the scene. One vehicle was into a building. Firefighters stretched a hand line, as the smell of natural gas was found due to the accident. Both drivers were taken to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital by Town of Newburgh EMS. Town of Newburgh Police blocked the roadway off at Fletcher Drive and the Business Center during the incident. New York State Police assisted at the scene. Central Hudson was also called to the scene. The Town of Newburgh Police Dept. is investigating the cause.
