TRAPPE, PA - Many area first responders attended the dedication of Trooper Branden T. Sisca Memorial Highway on Main Street in Trappe on Friday afternoon, April 28th.

Sisca was fire chief of the Trappe Fire Co. and a state trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police. Sisca, 29, was struck and killed by a drunk driver on March 21, 2022, while on duty along a section of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia.

There was a great turnout of Branden’s family, friends and area first responders. It was great to see the community come together for this dedication and to now have a permanent reminder of Branden’s sacrifice.

Branden was not only a Pennsylvania State Trooper, he was the Fire Chief at Trappe Fire Company and came from a family of service. Branden was a good friend and partner to members at many area fire companies, and he was passionate about firefighter training and safety.
