Shed Fire Extends to Residence in Black Creek

BLACK CREEK, NY - New Hudson Fire with auto aid from Cuba were dispatched to a shed fire with exposure to a mobile home on April 25th. Upon arrival of NH E-1, size up confirmed the home was now involved, prompting NH Chief 2 to request additional engines and tankers for water supply and manpower. Crews made a rapid attack on the fire, with extensive overhaul to be performed. All units worked tirelessly for almost three hours to eradicate the red devil from the structures. Agencies on scene: (Allegany County) New Hudson Fire, Cuba Fire, Clarksville Fire, Rushford Fire, District 1 RIT, Cuba Ambulance, MTS Ambulance, District 1 & 2 Coordinators (Cattaraugus County) Ischua Fire, Lyndon Fire.
