Greenland, NH — April 5th — North Hampton Fire & Rescue received assistance from the Greenland NH Fire Department, located at 13 Town Square, regarding a car fire that was alleged to have spread into a home at 151 Atlantic Avenue. When units arrived, they discovered a truck completely engulfed in a fire that was spreading throughout the house.

As responders started the fire attack and verified that one homeowner had safely and unharmedly left, a first-alarm assignment was requested. Firefighters quickly brought the situation under control by working to contain the fire and stop it from spreading. Coordinated actions were supported by mutual aid from the Portsmouth Fire Department, Rye Fire & Rescue, Hampton Fire/Rescue, and other agencies.
