LIMERICK TWP., PA - At 9:25 A.M. on Wednesday, April 17th, Perkiomen Township’s Tanker 66 and an all-volunteer crew were dispatched to the 300-block of Swamp Pike in Limerick Twp. for the report of a vehicle fire on the lot at Auto Rescue Salvage. The Tanker 66 crew prepared and oversaw the landing zone across the street for Jefferson Hospital’s JeffSTAT Critical Care Transport medical helicopter. Our volunteers were in service for about one hour and responded (along with other fire companies) as mutual aid to assist Limerick Fire Department.
