PORTAGE, PA - At a residential building fire in Portage Township on April 11th, the Blue Knob Volunteer Fire Company arrived to support the Portage Fire Company. Mutual aid units were present when Engine/Rescue 86 and Engine/Tanker 86 arrived and began operations. In addition to completing overhaul operations to check for extension and secure the structure, crews assisted with fire suppression.
