Chinese restaurant burns in Honeoye Falls

HONEOYE FALLS, NY - On Thursday, April 23, around 2:00 p.m., firefighters from multiple departments responded to a structure fire at the Four Seasons
Chinese Restaurant at 17 West Main Street in the village of Honeoye Falls, Monroe County.
The blaze was reported by a passerby to on duty personnel at the nearby firehouse.
Responding units found heavy smoke and fire conditions in the restaurant, as well as the apartments above.
Two ladder pipes were put into operation as the blaze was accessed from the front and rear of the building.
The fire was brought under control in about 90 minutes, with crews remaining on scene into the evening to preforming extensive overhaul.
Honeoye Falls firefighters were assisted by mutual aid from Lima, Livonia, Mendon, Rush, Henrietta, Pittsford, East Avon and Ionia fire departments.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by officials from the Monroe County Fire Bureau and the Monroe County Sheriff's Office
