Antwerp Responds to Injury Crash on Route 11

ANTWERP, NY - On March 23rd, the Antwerp Vol. Fire Department was called to a two-vehicle collision on Route 11 that resulted in injuries. A concerted multi-agency reaction was prompted by early reports of several patients. Firefighters helped EMS with patient access and care, secured the area, and managed risks. Philadelphia Fire, Theresa Fire, Indian River Ambulance, Evans Mills Ambulance, and Gouverneur Ambulance all offered mutual aid. For patient transportation, LifeNet 7-10 was also requested. Operations prioritized patient stabilization, roadside traffic control, and scene safety. Before returning to service, units stayed on scene until all patients had been transferred and the road had been cleaned.
