ADAMS CENTER, NY — April 18th — A reported fire alarm activation prompted the Adams Center Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. to react on an automatic mutual aid assignment to 5 East Church Street in the Village of Adams. Alongside the Lorraine and Adams fire departments, units responded. Among the equipment assigned were Chiefs, Engine 1-4-1, and Truck 1-8-1. After arriving, crews thoroughly examined the building, inspecting interior spaces and alarm panels to ascertain the reason for activation.

In order to verify conditions and guarantee occupant safety, alarm activations necessitate a coordinated reaction. Assignments of mutual aid enhance effective departmental operations and coverage maintenance. After clearing the area, units resumed their duties.
