This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Just before 6:00 p.m. on April 3, the Hopewell Fire Department was called to a reported car fire.

When Rescue 52 got there, only one car was completely involved. The fire was quickly contained once crews started an external attack and deployed a reel line. When necessary, Tanker 52 responded to assist with water supply operations.

In order to limit gasoline and other material dangers and stop vehicle fires from spreading, they must be put out quickly. In order to do overhaul and make sure the fire was completely put out, crews stayed on the scene.

Ambulance 152-3 was present to offer backup assistance. Units cleared soon after operations were finished, and no injuries were reported.
