Hicksville, NY — March 31st — At West Old Country Road and Charlotte Avenue, a car accident involving injuries prompted the Hicksville Fire Department, located at 20 E Marie St. When units arrived, they discovered automobiles with individuals in need of assistance. Firefighters helped EMS with patient care, mitigated hazards, and secured the area. While getting ready for removal operations, crews stabilized the trucks and looked for fluid leaks.

After being assessed, the patients were moved for additional care. Investigation and traffic control were aided by the Nassau County Police Department.
