This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

BETHPAGE, NY — April 6th — A reported house fire prompted the Bethpage Fire Department to provide mutual help to Jericho. The operational truck company was designated as Ladder 4 and Chief of Department Castellano. Crews were assigned to work on truck company tasks as soon as they arrived, such as opening up to check for fire extension, ventilation, and primary search. By enhancing internal conditions and facilitating access, truck firms play a crucial role in supporting engine operations.

In order to guarantee coordination and resource management during working fires in Nassau County, mutual aid organizations functioned under a single command structure. Bethpage units were released and put back into service after completing their assignments.
