Lincoln Borough, PA - Lincoln Boro VFRC #1 was requested to Glassport to stand by during a second alarm structure fire, later responding to the scene after the incident escalated to a third alarm.

During interior operations on the second floor, a backdraft occurred, prompting a mayday situation. One of the company’s officers was among the crew inside at the time.

Thanks to training, experience, and quick action, all members were able to exit the structure, with only minor injuries reported.

The incident highlights the dangers of rapidly changing fire conditions and the importance of preparedness during high-risk operations.
