CENTER MORICHES, NY — April 16th —  At at 2:50 p.m., emergency responders responded to a deadly car accident on Montauk Highway close to Kalers Pond Park. Between Mill Pond Lane and Chet Sweeney Road, units discovered a single car that had lost control and collided with a guardrail. At the scene, the driver was declared dead.

The cause of the collision is being looked into by Suffolk County Police. Seventh Squad detectives are requesting that anyone with information call them at 631-852-8752.
