NEWTON, MA - On April 20th around 10 AM, Newton Fire received a call for a house fire at 210 River Street. When firefighters arrived they found smoke and fire coming from the 2nd floor of a 2 1/2 story dwelling. Shortly after, a working fire was transmitted. The fire extended to the 3rd floor and a second alarm was transmitted. Waltham, Watertown and Boston also operated at the fire. One firefighter was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
