Fire Damages Apartment in Spring Hill

SPRING HILL, FL - On April 19th shortly after 7:00 P.M., Spring Hill (Hernando County) Firefighters responded to a fire in an apartment building at 8225 Omaha Circle. On arrival smoke was visible from the top floor apartment. The first due engine stretched a line to the fire apartment and quickly extinguished the fire. Firefighters performed a primary and secondary search of the top floors and then performed ventilation. Fire officials remained on scene for about one hour. The Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
