Anaheim, CA - On April 12th at approximately 12:23 PM, Anaheim, Orange City, Fullerton and Huntington Beach Fire fought a 3 alarm single story residential fire on the 2100 block of Sycamore Street in the city of Anaheim. Fire crews battled through an extreme hoarder condition from the front door to the rear of the residence and through the garage. A reporting party advised dispatch that there was a person still inside the house. After an extensive search, an “all clear” was given as nobody was in the home. Incident Command ordered fire crews to take a defensive stance as the roof began to fail in several parts of the house. It took fire crews from four different fire departments 30 minutes to declare a knock down the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
